DREST
DREST are a luxury fashion gaming app featuring editorial-style challenges inspired by real-world fashion and cultural events. Players create digital looks using authentic pieces from the latest designer collections.
I designed user acquisition content across social media and in-game marketing, producing both static and motion advertising assets.
DIGITAL DESIGN | COLLAGE | MOTIONUSER ACQUISITION ADVERTS
The objective of UA advertising was to attract new customers and drive subscriptions. Campaign performance was closely monitored, with success measured through click-through rates. The highest-performing designs were then refined and optimised to improve results further. These adverts typically appeared in-game or across social media platforms while users were actively engaged.
My role was to create bold, fashion-focused visuals that communicated the brand message instantly. As many ads were displayed only briefly, clarity and strong visual impact were essential.
I was responsible for developing each campaign from concept to final execution - designing the avatars’ fashion looks, defining the overall theme and layout, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, colour palettes, and current seasonal trends.
COLLAGE & FASHION SOURCING
The Drest brand identity heavily incorporates collage - a creative, fashion magazine inspired approach to presenting imagery. I designed a variety of themed fashion collages that serve as backgrounds and highlight game items and designer brands. With meticulous attention to detail, I carefully selected fabrics, styles, colours, and themes to ensure a cohesive, high-end aesthetic.
Another key aspect of this role was creating and sourcing fashion items and looks. Using the in-house fitting room, I styled avatar outfits to provide aspirational examples, pairing them with luxurious backgrounds to showcase how models can be dressed.
MOTION DESIGN & STORYBOARDS
In addition to designing static UA adverts, I created UA videos, taking ownership of frame-by-frame storyboards and developing fresh motion concepts. I collaborated closely with the animation team and Creative Lead to craft cohesive, on-brand, and imaginative motion pieces.
By combining my skills in communication, storytelling, fashion insight, and creative vision, I led motion design projects from concept through to completion.
Two of my standout video projects - Soft Life Summer and Euro Summer - draw inspiration from summer trends and holiday culture. Both videos capture a vacation-style aesthetic, featuring on-trend fashion and smooth, polished animation effects.
