BRANDING | DIGITAL DESIGN SHOP HOME STYLES
Shop Home Styles is an eCommerce-focused interior brand promoting curated home products and seasonal collections. The objective of this project was to design a cohesive set of social media assets and email campaigns that drive product discovery, engagement, and conversions across multiple digital touchpoints.
The brand required a consistent and engaging visual approach across social and email channels to support product promotion and drive traffic to the website.
Key challenges included:
Maintaining visual consistency across multiple platforms
Creating scroll-stopping content in a highly competitive social environment
Presenting a wide range of products in a clear and compelling way
Encouraging users to move from inspiration to purchase
My design goal was to create a multi-channel campaign system that:
Increases engagement across social platforms
Drives traffic from social and email to the website
Showcases products in a visually compelling and structured way
Encourages users to explore and purchase
The User
The target audience includes:
Design-conscious consumers interested in interiors and home styling
Users browsing for inspiration before making a purchase
Returning customers engaging with new product drops and collections
User needs:
Visually engaging content that inspires
Clear presentation of products and collections
Easy pathways to explore and shop
Consistent brand experience across channels
Strategy & Approach
1. Scroll-Stopping Social Content
Social assets were designed to capture attention quickly within fast-moving feeds:
Bold typography and strong imagery to stand out
Clear visual hierarchy to communicate key messages instantly
Distinct themes (e.g. “1960s Luxe”, “Clean Lines”) to organise content
This approach increases the likelihood of users pausing, engaging, and exploring further.
2. Product Discovery Through Structured Visuals
To support product exploration, content was designed to balance inspiration with clarity:
Image-led layouts to showcase products in context
Grid-based compositions for easy scanning
Grouping of related products to simplify decision-making
This helps users move from browsing to considering specific products.
3. Conversion-Focused Email Design
Email campaigns were designed to drive traffic and conversions:
Clear headline messaging to highlight new arrivals and key products
Strong calls-to-action to encourage click-through
Structured layouts to guide users from introduction to product exploration
The design prioritises clarity and ease of interaction to support higher click-through rates.
4. Consistent Cross-Channel Design System
A cohesive visual system was applied across social and email:
Consistent typography, colour palette, and layout patterns
Reusable components to maintain efficiency and scalability
Alignment between channels to reinforce brand recognition
This creates a seamless experience as users move between platforms.
5. Designing for Engagement and Action
Each asset was created with a clear purpose:
Social content designed to attract and engage
Email designed to convert and drive traffic
Visual cues used to guide users toward key actions (e.g. “Discover More”)
This ensures that design decisions directly support business goals.
The Outcome
The final campaign system delivers a cohesive, conversion-focused experience that:
Increases engagement through visually compelling social content
Supports product discovery with structured and accessible layouts
Drives traffic and encourages action through clear email design
Maintains a consistent and recognisable brand presence across channels
